Organisational structure

As a smarketing advisor, I thoroughly analyse the current organisational structure and look for opportunities to align it with “RTM” (Route-to-Market) and “GTM” (Go-to-Market) strategies. I ensure that the chosen structure strengthens the synergy between sales and marketing and optimally supports the implementation of strategies. The goal is to create a well-coordinated and efficient team, with sales and marketing working seamlessly together to achieve shared goals and drive organisational success.

Forecasting

As a smarketing advisor, I am responsible for thoroughly analysing data and trends to make reliable predictions about the organisation’s future sales results and performance. Using the smarketing concept, I work closely with both the sales and marketing teams to develop a joint strategy. Accurate forecasting is crucial for setting realistic (sales) targets and making informed decisions to optimise efforts to achieve joint success.

End to end Automatisation

Within Smarketing, it is vital to emphasise end-to-end automation of both marketing tools, CRM and BI systems. I work closely with the sales and marketing team to identify and implement suitable automation solutions. By seamlessly integrating these systems, we can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales and marketing activities, contributing to the successful execution of the smarketing strategy and joint success in the organisation.

Process optimisation & KPI

Working closely with the team, I identify, develop and implement structured and efficient procedures for all sales activities, from lead generation to deal closing and after-sales service. In doing so, we ensure that we establish joint KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that measure the performance of both sales and marketing and contribute to the joint success of the organisation according to the smarketing concept. These well-thought-out processes and shared KPIs help increase productivity, minimise errors and improve customer satisfaction.

The correct cadence

I strive to implement a well-coordinated cadence (rhythm) between sales and marketing. Together, we plan and organise structured time intervals for various sales activities, such as prospecting, follow-ups, meetings, reporting and evaluations. By working closely with marketing, we can increase productivity, improve performance and achieve sales targets more effectively. A streamlined approach helps sales and marketing work more efficiently and respond jointly to the needs of potential customers, contributing to joint success according to the Smarketing concept.

Training

As a Smarketing advisor, I conduct strategic-level sales training that focuses on developing sales skills and techniques for sales professionals and executives. My focus is on identifying new market opportunities, managing key customer relationships, creating account plans and improving pipeline management. By having sales and marketing work closely together, I ensure that the training sessions are aligned with the Smarketing concept, contributing to a joint successful implementation of the strategies.

Coaching & Mentoring

Within a Smarketing-driven environment, I combine coaching and mentoring to strengthen the sales team. I offer individual coaching to sales professionals, bridging the gap between sales and marketing. Through targeted one-to-one sessions, I help them improve their sales and marketing skills, address specific challenges and achieve shared goals.
